Interior Designer, 3-5 Years
Responsibilities and essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:
Support lead designers with projects from concept through completion phases.
Assemble physical and digital presentation boards.
Render floor plans and elevations for presentation.
Interact with manufacturers to follow up on products, verify pricing, order samples, etc.
Under supervision, develop plan layouts and elevations in AutoCad and/or REVIT.
Prepare FF&E documentation (i.e. FF&E specifications, custom furniture drawings, furniture plans and coordination with interior architectural plans).
Prepare interior architectural package documentation (i.e. plans, architectural specifications, details, custom millwork, elevations and plans).
Coordinate and organize working budgets.
Perform construction administration, including submittal tracking, logging, RFI responses, shop drawing and control sample review and coordination.
Degree from an accredited design or architectural school.
3-5 years minimum experience working (or interning) in a design or architecture firm.
Highly proficient in REVIT, AutoCAD, Sketch up, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
Excellent graphic presentation skills, including rendering plans and elevations and assembling materials boards.
Experience selecting and specifying lighting, furniture, materials and hardware a plus.
IA - Experience in production and coordination of construction sets with knowledge of construction detailing, materials, methods, and codes a plus.
IA - Experience in understanding of major consultants’ work, and ability to interpret their plans and specifications a plus.
